Barry is a Career Management Consultant and Coach who partners with Directors, Senior Executives, Managers and Professionals to achieve their key business, professional, and personal objectives. Barry has coached staff from major Mining, Oil and Gas, Engineering, Financial Services, Professional Services, Leisure, Tertiary Education, and Agribusiness organisations. He partners strategically with people who are: - Navigating their early careers - Progressing within organisations - Transitioning into more senior roles - Re-entering the workforce - Experiencing career indecision - Changing careers, or - Executing job search campaigns Barry also speaks and writes on career topics and has presented to groups of managers, retrenched workers, emerging leaders, HR professionals, psychologists, life and career coaches. At both National and State Division Executive levels, he has also been an active contributor to the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA). As Course Coordinator and Senior Lecturer of the Edith Cowan University post-graduate Career Development programmes (2007 - 2015), Barry also trained career development practitioners serving diverse client populations in a range of contexts (e.g. corporate human resources; career consultancy; elite sports; rehabilitation; education; and community services). He is a Fellow of both the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA) and Australian Institute of Management (AIMWA) and a Certified Professional Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI).
