Dr Julie Rosengren is Founder and Managing Director of the Life Institute. She is a Careers Counsellor and Education Consultant with 25 years experience in coaching and counselling. She works with clients from all ages and stages of life, including high school students, tradies, university students, adults seeking transition support to another role or industry, mums and dads returning to work, migrants and international students and more. She has worked with clients from a diverse range of industries providing career related support, including financial services, banking, law, construction, engineering, mining, retail, health, Department of Defence, tax department and other government departments, ngos, sporting teams and many more. Julie sees clients for one on one coaching and counselling sessions for work and family issues in career management, (including self awareness, job profiling, course search, job search, networking, linkedIn, resumes and interviewing) and work/life/family balance and much more. She works online around Australia and the world and face to face around Australia, including Melbourne, Gold Coast and Northern NSW. She works with individuals, families and organisations on a whole range of career management areas - transitioning to new sectors, redeployment, job loss, unemployment, returning to work after leave, subject selection for school students, guidance after graduation from school or further study, diversity at work, women in the workplace, men’s health, and much more. She is a registered Morrisby Careers Analyst, a sophisticated career tool to assist in making decisions for career, school subjects and courses for university, TAFE, RTOs, and other educational options. She also speaks some Thai having lived there many years ago and some Chinese and Japanese through working in those locations, and has had extensive experience working across the whole of Asia, USA and UK. She has been very successful in assisting migrants and international students from around the globe to gain employment, adjust to the Australian culture and improve their English through language support.
