A Professional Career Coach, I have a background in Psychology, postgrad career qualifications and over 20 years' careers experience, spanning HR, recruitment, training and career development. With a thorough understanding of psychological principles and hands-on employment experience, I bring a practical and holistic approach to my work. I help my clients to know themselves better, identify their strengths and build on these to develop personally rewarding careers. My background also means that once my clients have determined their direction, I can offer practical assistance to help them find and secure work. I've managed countless recruitment campaigns in both corporate and government settings and use that experience to help clients market themselves effectively, both in their resumes, on LinkedIn and at interview. Finally, having negotiated several career transitions myself, across roles, sectors, industries and countries, I understand how daunting being at a career crossroads can be. I use my training in workplace coaching and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) to help my clients set values-aligned goals, manage self-doubt and get unstuck.
