I have a unique expertise in counselling school leavers and mature aged clients which was honed as the Career Counsellor at the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (2001-2008). My specialist focus is career decision-making and negotiating the very complex and often changing tertiary entry process. Most recently (to end 2016) I taught and Co-Ordinated Career Development in the Masters course at QUT. I currently teach Foundational Educational Counselling to Masters students studying Career Development and Guidance and Counselling. Previously, I have been a teacher of Senior Secondary English, and a HOD. I offer face-to-face counselling in rooms at Kenmore or phone and online (Zoom, Facetime) counselling. I firmly believe that receiving the right support and guidance in the career decision-making process is a vital step and adhere to the value and significance of accurate and effective Career Counselling.
