My unique blend of academic qualifications and strong multi-sector industry background allows me to help you navigate the world of work to get the best possible professional outcomes. I've held extensive senior human resources management roles in banking and finance, rail transport, media and publishing and global community development. I have undertaken career transition consulting and executive outplacement with global career transition firm LHH. I support students and graduates at all levels in the higher education sector with one-on-one coaching and facilitating programs. I work with with students, graduates and PhD transition to industry from The University of Melbourne, ranked No.1 in Australia. I hold an honours degree qualification in behavioural sciences (psychology) (AQF 8) (APAC Accredited), with two years of professional supervision enabling full professional membership of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and hold a certificate IV in training and assessment. My best-selling book, "Manage Your Own Career: Reinvent Your Job; Reinvent Yourself", led to media contributions and speaking on career topics and personal development. I've been invited as a guest speaker to the Faculty of Business & Economics at The University of Melbourne, at the Walter + Eliza Hall for Medical Research, and The Royal Children's Hospital. I advise PhD graduate researchers making the transition to industry. My regular column in the Saturday Herald Sun covered career topics, and I presented a weekly career segment on Melbourne radio. I'm a contributing writer to Nine mastheads, The Age and Sydney Morning Herald on workplace issues, and various career podcasts. I'm currently on The Australian Career Book Award supported by RSA Oceania as a member of the awarding panel.
