Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding agreement in your country of residence. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when creating an account, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Keep your login credentials secure and do not share them. Tell us promptly at hello@careervectorhq.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time.

CareerVector is currently offered free of charge during early access. We are still developing the Service, which means features may change, be added, or be removed, and the Service may be unavailable from time to time. We do not promise any particular level of availability during this period.

If we introduce paid plans in the future, we will tell you before any charge applies to your account. We will not charge you for access you have already used free of charge.

You keep ownership of the resumes, career history, job descriptions, cover letters, and other material you upload or create in the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you — for example, to generate a tailored resume or an alignment score at your request.

You are responsible for Your Content. You confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

The Service uses AI models to analyse your material and generate drafts. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular role. You are responsible for reviewing and editing anything the Service produces before you rely on it or send it to an employer.

The Service is designed to present your real experience more clearly. It is not intended to invent qualifications, employment history, or credentials, and you agree not to use it for that purpose.

We do not guarantee any job-search outcome, including interviews, offers, or how any applicant tracking system will process your documents.

You agree not to:

• break any applicable law or infringe anyone's rights;
• upload material you do not have the right to use, or another person's personal information without their consent;
• create applications or documents representing someone other than yourself as the candidate;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• interfere with the Service, including by scraping it, overloading it, or circumventing usage limits;
• resell, redistribute, or use the Service to build a competing product.

The CareerVector Chrome extension saves job postings from supported job sites to your CareerVector account at your request. You are responsible for using it in accordance with the terms of the sites you visit. The extension is provided on the same terms as the rest of the Service.

The Service, including its software, design, and content we provide, belongs to GrowthPostHQ and its licensors. These terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you. You may use the Service only as permitted here.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information in connection with the Service. It forms part of these terms.

The Service relies on third parties, including hosting, database, email, analytics, and AI model providers, and it links to third-party sites such as job boards and scheduling tools. We are not responsible for third-party services or their content, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service or other users, or if we discontinue the Service. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will give you notice and an opportunity to export Your Content.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties that are not expressly stated in these terms. CareerVector does not provide legal, financial, migration, or employment advice.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law, where that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the Service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to the section above, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, opportunities, employment, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

We may update these terms as the Service develops. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. You and GrowthPostHQ submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state and the courts able to hear appeals from them.
